It's not easy to be a child sometimes. There are so many things to figure out, so much that they feel is out of their control. Children are amazing at figuring out how to help themselves though, using their creativity, their imagination. It is just a question of giving them a little help from time to time. This is what those stories are meant to be. They will resonate especially with children 5 to 9 years old but the strategies presented in them are useful to everyone, including adults. Those strategies are also broad enough that they can be applied in a variety of contexts.
